Black smoke from diesel engine
發布時間:2022-07-02
If the diesel engine emits black smoke during operation, the following parts should be inspected:
a. Fuel injection pump: check whether the fuel volume of the fuel injection pump is too large, and whether the plunger / outlet valve is seriously worn, etc.
b. Fuel injector: check whether the fuel injector atomizes poorly, drips oil or is stuck.
c. Check the injection advance angle: the injection advance angle is incorrect, so that the time of fuel injection into the cylinder is inappropriate, and the combustion is insufficient, resulting in black smoke from the diesel engine.
3. Other factors
a. Valve clearance: if the valve clearance is incorrect, the opening and closing time of the intake and exhaust of the diesel engine will be wrong, and the diesel engine will emit black smoke.
b. Piston ring and cylinder liner: if they are worn too much, the cylinder compression pressure will be low, the fuel combustion will be insufficient, and the diesel engine will emit black smoke.
c. The valve seat ring is too deeply recessed or the piston crown clearance is too large: both will change the compression ratio of the diesel engine, resulting in insufficient compression pressure and black smoke from the diesel engine.
1. Air filter: if the air filter element is dirty, it will lead to insufficient air intake and serious black smoke from the diesel engine.
